NASA simulation of Orion Exploration Flight Test 1 (EFT-1), tentatively scheduled for 2014. An unmanned Orion module will be launched aboard a Delta IV Heavy rocket and boosted to a high orbit. After two orbits of systems testing, the Orion module will reenter Earth’s atmosphere at high speed and land by parachute in the Pacific Ocean.
